Rivermont is a spectacular recreational getaway on 70 acres of river-front property nestled in the Smoky Mountains. We are located just Southeast of Waynesville and only 10 miles from the entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway - "America's Most Scenic Drive".

Enjoy the lovely covered porches as you sit in the old-fashioned rocking chairs admiring the spectacular view of the Pigeon River and the Smoky Mountains. Feel the joy of walking our nature trails in the hushed loveliness of a Carolina morning and hear the sounds of the singing birds or sitting by our tranquil pond on a lazy evening. Surround yourself with the richness of nature.

Our game room in the barn by the river's edge offers rainy day amusement. Relax in one of our hammocks, or try your luck trout fishing. One-half mile frontage on the Pigeon River is yours to enjoy for tubing, swimming or fishing.

For more adventure, you may want to explore the sights and attractions of the Greater Smoky Mountains area that are conveniently located to Rivermont. You have your choice of colorful festivals, craft fairs, antique shops, flea markets, country western dancing, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, winter skiing, gem mining, golf, tennis and many special events throughout the year.
